Textile Cluster of North Macedonia Joins the GREENSMARTMED European Project as a Partner

The Textile Trade Association – Textile Cluster of North Macedonia is joining the European project GREENSMARTMED – Green and Resilient European Excellence Network for Smart MED SMEs, as a partner within the new Transfer Phase of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.GREENSMARTMED aims to support the transition towards green, sustainable and competitive production, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and industrial sectors such as textiles, plastics and the agri-food sector. The project is based on a developed methodology and a set of tools designed to help companies turn challenges related to sustainability and the green transition into opportunities for innovation and sustainable business development.With the inclusion of North Macedonia in the Transfer Phase, the Textile Cluster will contribute to the transfer and application of the GREENSMARTMED methodology and tools within the Macedonian textile sector.Through its active participation in the project, the Textile Cluster will work towards creating better conditions for North Macedonian textile companies to respond to new European requirements related to the green transition, circularity, resource efficiency and sustainable development.
