Goals and objectives

The main goal for which “TTA – Textile cluster” was established is to contribute to the growth and development of the textile industry in R. Macedonia, by setting and accomplishing the following tasks:

1. Staying in foreign markets – fashion trends to become available to a large number of individual companies, who can not afford to attend trade fairs alone; setting up stands at trade fairs for joint sale of Macedonian products;
2. Evaluation of Macedonian products against foreign competition, not in terms of fashion, but in terms of production techniques and specifications;
3. Providing a list of potential European and overseas clients, as well as presenting information about our companies;
4. Negotiations with banks as a single industry for favorable loan terms;
5. Establishing contacts with all Government institutions to achieve the specific interests of the textile industry in terms of taxes, labor and social, economic issues, etc .; the joint-collective appearance before these institutions will lead to better negotiations;
6. Establishing contacts and regular communication with Chambers of Commerce, domestic and foreign agencies and institutes, foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations and donors, which will enable exchange of data and information as well as participation in projects and use of donations;
7. Cooperation with educational institutions – faculties, schools, for setting a stronger textile program that will provide highly qualified leadership staff for the textile industry

• Connecting with foreign clients and organizing their visit to production facilities
• Practical trainings by foreign consultants at promotional prices
• Participation in B2B meetings, conferences and fairs
• Information on markets and conditions
• Exploring new markets
• Support in the field of social certification BSCI, SEDEX / SMETA
• Cooperation with educational institutions – textile schools and faculties
• Lobbying in governmental and non-governmental institutions (including Customs) to solve the problems present in the sector
• Preparation and participation in projects
