ANNUAL MEETING OF TTZ TEXTILE CLUSTER ( 06.10.2017) SKOPJE

On the (06.10.2017) In  Skopje at the Faculty of Technology and  Metallurgy , The Textile Trade Association – Textile Cluster held the annual meeting on which attended 30 participants, representatives of textile companies, members of the Cluster, with whom there was a discussion about the situation of the textile industry. Besides the members of The Textile Cluster, the Representative of The Ministry of finance and also the advisor to the Minister of Finances, Dr. Branimir Jovanovik also attended the meeting. With him there was a discussion about the application of the new Law of minimum wage in the Republic of Macedonia and also the problems and suggestions about applying this Law.

The meeting was opened by the President of the Textile Cluster Marijana Perkovska who suggested that raising the minimum wage from 9500 MKD to 12 000 MKD net would cause financial problems

Meeting of the Management Board of TZZ-TC – Skopje (03.07.2015)

On 03.07.2015 the members of the Managing Board of the Textile Cluster held a meeting with the following agenda:

1. Situation in the textile industry and current problems
2. TTZ-TC activities
3. Miscellaneous

At the MB meeting each of the companies presented the situation in their company and the region in which it is located, as well as the current problems it faces, in order to take steps to resolve them. It was also noted that in the first quarter there was a decline in exports, as a result of which several factories were closed. At the meeting it was decided to prepare a letter stating all the above mentioned points, which will be forwarded to all relevant institutions and ministries and will be requested urgent meeting due to the alarming situation and the continuous destruction of the branch. The purpose of the letter is to point out that if the Government pays little attention to the problems, it can be easily resolved, and will allow the branch to survive for the next 10 years.

ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF TZZ – Textile cluster (08.06.2016, Prilep)

On 08.06.2016 in Prilep, at the Crystal Palace Hotel, the Textile Trade Association-Textile Cluster held an Annual Assembly attended by the Mayor of Prilep, Mr. Marijan Risteski and the Director of the Agency for Employment Popovski. The meeting was opened by the Mayor Marijan Risteski who emphasized that the textile sector is very important for the Municipality of Prilep as well as for Macedonia as a whole, and that as Mayor he tries to be in touch with the textile companies in that region in order to hear the problems that they are facing a solution. As one of the main problems highlighted by the Mayor is the lack of quality staff due to the diminished interest of the young population for employment in this sector.
