Textile Cluster Participated in the Webinar “Textiles in the Age of AI: Smart Manufacturing and Digital Innovation”

The Textile Cluster participated in the international webinar “Textiles in the Age of AI: Smart Manufacturing and Digital Innovation”, which brought together leading experts, companies, and innovation stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the role of artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation in the textile sector.
The webinar was organized within the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), in collaboration with partners from Italy, Germany, and North Macedonia, including the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research (MIR), highlighting the importance of cross-border cooperation between North Rhine-Westphalia, Piedmont, and North Macedonia.
Representatives from North Macedonia actively contributed at both strategic and technical levels, sharing knowledge, expertise, and practical insights related to the adoption of digital technologies and sustainable solutions in the textile sector.
As part of the programme, the Textile Cluster delivered a presentation titled “A Transnational Digital Framework for Sustainable and Data-Driven Textile Innovation”, based on the VERDEinMED project. The presentation introduced the VERDE Bussola, a practical and transferable model supporting innovation readiness, aimed at helping textile companies and regions better navigate digital transformation and sustainable development.
