On 6 May 2026, in Skopje, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Textile Trade Association – Textile Cluster (TTA-TC) and the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, between the TTA Textile Cluster and the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy.

The Memorandum was signed by Natasha Sivevska, Executive Director of the Textile Cluster, and the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Igor Jordanov.

This document establishes a framework for cooperation on topics and activities of mutual interest, including the joint organization and implementation of applied and scientific research projects, mutual exchange of information, as well as the formation of expert teams for their development and implementation. In addition, it foresees the involvement of both institutions in project activities of mutual interest, facilitated access to industrial events, workshops, and real-world projects for students from the Institute of Textile Engineering, as well as the exchange of knowledge, resources, and technical expertise between academic staff and professionals from both institutions.

This Memorandum represents an important step towards strengthening cooperation between the academic community and industry, aiming to foster innovation, practical application of knowledge, and capacity building in the textile sector.
