The analysis was conducted in cooperation with the Textile Cluster, with support from SIPPO.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"html-div xexx8yu xyri2b x18d9i69 x1c1uobl x1gslohp x14z9mp x12nagc x1lziwak x1yc453h x126k92a x18lvrbx\" dir=\"auto\">During the meeting, the key findings were presented, including estimates of the quantities of industrial textile waste generated, a comparison of the costs of incineration and recycling, and customs procedures related to waste treatment.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"html-div xexx8yu xyri2b x18d9i69 x1c1uobl x1gslohp x14z9mp x12nagc x1lziwak x1yc453h x126k92a x18lvrbx\" dir=\"auto\">Through discussions and an exchange of experiences with representatives of textile companies, participants examined the current challenges in textile waste management and explored opportunities for more efficient and sustainable practices.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"html-div xexx8yu xyri2b x18d9i69 x1c1uobl x1gslohp x14z9mp x12nagc x1lziwak x1yc453h x126k92a x18lvrbx\" dir=\"auto\">The aim of the roundtable was to verify the accuracy and relevance of the findings by engaging industry stakeholders and to identify potential next steps towards improving industrial textile waste management in the country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"html-div xexx8yu xyri2b x18d9i69 x1c1uobl x1gslohp x14z9mp x12nagc x1lziwak x1yc453h x126k92a x18lvrbx\" dir=\"auto\">Such consultations are an important step towards better understanding the needs of the textile sector and identifying solutions that support more sustainable resource management, greater recycling opportunities, and the transition to a circular economy.
