Under the Activity 1.3 Train the trainer Workshop within VERDEinMED project Textile cluster team was part ot the 4th workshop on topic “Circular Business Models” 4th of October 2024.  The goal of the training was exploring  innovative business strategies that prioritize resource efficiency, waste reduction, and closed-loop systems. The content of the training was:

1. Introduction to circular economy principles: Rethinking linear business models, principles of circularity, and value chain optimization;


2. Circular business model archetypes: Product-as-a-Service (PaaS), sharing platforms, remanufacturing, and closed-loop systems;


3. Circular supply chain management: Reverse logistics, resource recovery, and extended producer responsibility (EPR);


4. Collaborative partnerships and ecosystem development: Engaging stakeholders, fostering industry collaboration, and creating shared value;


5. Business case development and implementation strategies: Assessing economic viability, overcoming barriers, and scaling circular initiatives.
