First online B2B event / online Webinar “How to Use New Strategic Economic Tools to Transform the Company Activities in the Textile and Leather Industry between Partnership and Trading toward a New Channels” on 14.09.2022
On 14.09.2022 was held the first B2B online meeting / online Webinar “How to Use New Strategic Economic Tools to Transform the Company Activities in the Textile and Leather Industry between Partnership and Trading toward a New Channels” organized by PROEKSPORT ALBANIA, supported through a grant from the regional USAID Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth Project. The main topic was” Business Partnerships and trade solutions exports”, with the purpose of sustaining competitiveness and initiating cooperation between companies in the Balkan region and wider. The main scope was to create a stable business model through cross borders in order to sign up for a strategy or an asset necessary to create a competitive advantage.
The online event was opened by the USAID EDGE PROJECT representative Ms. Olivera Mitrevska and had a brief description of the USAID EDGE PROJECT and the aim of the support for this project. Then Mr. Edvin Prence, Chairman of Proeksport Albania Association about the purpose of the event and the B2B meeting arranged. Ms. Edona Bilali , Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Protection in the Albanian Government, spoke about how introduction of a new model of implementation actually to Albanian case companies and abroad it includes of new Sturt up technology, and a government platforms. Presentation for “Innovative Strategies and best practices in Albania Fashion, Textile & Leather Manufactures”, recommended from university, had Lecturer of Polytechnic University of Tirana Department of Textile and Fashion. Also Silva Sulo, Lecturer of Polytechnic University of Tirana Department of Textile and Fashion, spoke about successful Case studies: “Krienko Jeans” and “Fital shpk” (shoes). She explained for strategies and development policies to encourage the competitiveness of garment and footwear manufacturers and strengthen cooperation between companies in the Balkan region and EU.
The event had companies from each country, members of Cluster Facts (Serbia), TTA-TC (North Macedonia) and PEA (Albania) as well as stakeholders from government authorities, universities, and textile high schools. At the end of the session, there was time for a presentation of the company’s participants in the event for possible cooperation between them and questions and answers.
