On 16–17 September 2025, representatives of the Textile Trade Association – Textile Cluster took part in the Steering Committee meeting of the VERDEinMED project, held in Ruse, Bulgaria, and kindly hosted by our partner, the Bulgarian Fashion Association.

During the first day, the meeting took place at the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where partners and associates presented and discussed the progress of the project and defined next steps for its implementation.

The second day was dedicated to a study visit to TexCycle in Varna, a world-leading company in textile circularity. Founded in 2000 as a textile sorting company, TexCycle has expanded to five continents, specializing in the collection, sorting, and innovative recycling solutions for the textile sector.

The Steering Committee once again confirmed the importance of cross-border cooperation in promoting sustainability and circular economy practices within the Mediterranean textile industry.
