The Executive Director of TTA – Textile Cluster, upon invitation from the project partners, had the honor of being a panelist at the event marking the launch of the project “Eco Dialogue Towards the EU: Fostering Environmental Change Through Inclusive Policy Advocacy”, which was held in Skopje on June 19, 2025. The project is co-financed by the European Union and implemented by the Foundation for the Development of the Local Community – Štip (FRLZ) in partnership with the associations Konekt Skopje KONEKT Skopje and AGORA – Center for the Promotion of Civic Values in Skopje. Circular economy and waste management are important aspects of our lives. Through the activities of this project, intersectoral dialogue and cooperation, waste management and reuse will be promoted, and civil society will be empowered for policy advocacy. As a result of the project, civil society organizations, the business community, relevant institutions, and local self-government units will take a more active role in the creation and implementation of environmental policies.
At the event, the Executive Director also gave a presentation on two projects from the EU IPA program: VERDEinMED IPA EURO MED and Mission4Water, which are currently being implemented by the Textile Cluster. The aim was to explore potential collaboration opportunities between the projects and the stakeholders present at the event. More than 40 representatives from CSOs and businesses attended the promotion, particularly those active in the field of environmental protection in the country. They emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving ecological change in our communities, promoting a more sustainable future, and fostering the development of green and clean technologies.
