Regarding the development of Regional Hub North Macedonian VERDE HUB was created. Invitations were sent to stakeholders that TTA considered suitable to be creators and participants of the Macedonian VERDE HUB. After confirmation of the interested parties, the HUB was created and its composition includes representatives from companies from the textile sector, educational institutions, government institutions, NGOs, foundations. VERDE Hub will act as network of regional facilitators and local actors to overcome barriers and ensure responsiveness of target groups. On 24^th of December 2024 the first two (merged) sco-creation HUB meetings with representatives from:  companies (4), educational institutions (3), government representatives (2) and civil society NGOs (3) was held. On the meeting TTA staff made presentation of the project, objectives and goals, activities realized including parts of the regional report State of the art, then the purpose of the HUB, also was made presentation of the Knowledge platform as well as the expectation from the members of the HUB.

 

In the second part, each HUB member introduced her/him self and the activities of his/her institution in the field of textile waste management practices. It was a good opportunity everybody to understand the position of the institution and the possibilities for cooperation and also possible contribution to the Knowledge platform. At the end on the meeting were shared the tailored questions for gathering feedback from the participants and was present the expected impact of the VERDE HUB.

 

The presentations, national regional report and the tailored questions will be shared with the HUB members for their feedback and inputs.
