Interreg IPA-CBC BG/MK - Students from Vinica visiting companies and preparing collections

On 04.02.2020 under the Interreg IPA-CBC Bulgaria-Macedonia project "Modern textile Industry as Attractive Career Path for Young Generations and Contributor for Economic Development and Social Prosperity of Cross Border Region" the Textile Cluster together with the designer Irina Tosheva visited the BTB factory in Vinica together with the students from the primary schools "Goce Delcev" and "Slavco Stojmenski" and the students from the high school "Vanco Prke".

During the visit to the BTB factory, the students were able to see the whole process of garment production, and at the same time they had a short inspirational workshop that encouraged them to think about smart factory optimization and production process. The students stated that this would be a good further experience for them as they had the opportunity to see the whole way of producing and producing one product.

Then the activity continued in the high school "Vanco Prke" where the designer Irina Tosheva gave a short presentation on the objectives and goals of the project activities, presented them with pictures of models and gave directions for making a collection. Then followed the section where the students could ask questions and in which they could give their thoughts on the topic at hand.

The students showed great interest and also showed their creations which they made so fare for performances, manifestations, "Trash Fashion" and the like.

The designer Irina Tosheva showed the students ways to make models that will be presented at the Fashion Show in Stip in May 2020. It was explained to them that the fashion show would be organized at a high level with professional models and photographers. The students have created a Facebook group where they can interact with the designer and present their ideas.

Another meeting was arranged for about a month to see what the students had done. During the preparation the students will use materials that will be donated by textile companies.
