On January 26, on the occasion of the World Environment Education Day and as part of the European project "Design4 circle", was held a web seminar on circular economics in the textile and fashion industry in Europe .
European industry wants to increase the level of sustainability and innovation in the production and recycling processes. For this, it is essential that designers create products based on the principles of circular economy. Caring for the environment begins with designing the product. To help achieve this goal, the partners of the European Project Design4Circle project, co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus + program, worked together to develop training material to provide designers and SMEs with the skills needed to implement new practices. of eco design, which promotes more sustainable production in the textile industry.
The project consortium consists of organizations for research, training and business support, universities and national associations from Latvia, Belgium, Northern Macedonia, Portugal, Romania and Spain
